In all my literary experiences, which are not as many as I wish, I have never encountered a writer that has ever had written in the bluntness about religion as Michener has. Not only are his ideas excellent self-contemplation topics, but the histories and backgrounds of the world are extremely profound and mind enhancing. In the Source, Michener shows the formation of three main religions:Christianity, Muslim, and Judaism. He starts from the very beginning, and ends shortly after the Israel Liberation Movement. I think it is an amazing book.
