HAHAHAHA... MENTAL DIVERGENCE, MY MUSE!
I am going to watch the Passion tomorrow

Of all the controversy over this movie, I have read the impacts that it had on people and I am looking forward to seeing this movie. I feel that it is going to be a trying experience for me because I have been sheltered all my life, and something this radical may be too much for me. I am not worried about what others will think of me if I change because of this experience, I am more worried about what it will do to me. How will my life change? I am pretty sure that it will change for the better, yet I am still afraid in a way. The gore, the abuse, the story will not touch me nearly as much as the spiritual meaning. Will I be crushed emotionally? Spiritually? I find it funny, actually, that I call myself a Christian. I am actually going to witness the closest thing to the crucifixion that has ever been recreated, and I am afraid? It seems insane and I feel bad about that. What if I am not changed by this movie? Does that mean I am a bad Christian then? I feel that this could be a huge turning point for me in my life. Something monstrous is going to happen, a huge clash of evil and good. Which side will I fight for? For the longest time I have dreamed of myself being a great Christian model(at least when I was younger, now I just hope to turn out all right), now I think i am going down the well-travelled road. Please pray for me, this may be the most trying experience of my life.

God be with us all,
Jay

You are getting caught up in the hype. As you sit there, remember to munch some popcorn or mike&Ikes, as it takes the edge off. When it gets to the point of you wanting to side with the evil inside, repeat to yourself over and over, "It's only a movie" It's only a movie" "It's only a movie".

Now the fact you are an anti-semite if you go see it, and will want to kill jews afterwards is all you have to be aware of apparently. CNN and other 'controlled media' have reminded us over and over that Jews have been persecuted for having Jesus murdered unjustly for over 2,000 years now. So you only have to worry about Mel Gibson brainwashing you into murdering Jews while you watch it, with some sort of subliminal suggestion or something.

If you don't feel like this when it is over, ask yourself why the Jewish rabbis are so concerned about stopping you watching a movie about the death of Jesus. You know that it is a common occurence that Rabbis' tell Jews to not bother even reading the New Testament because it is not a Holy Book, and salvation is found by strictures of the Old Testament. Most Jews know virtually nothing about Jesus and his preaching against the Jewish Pahrisees and Scribes, his accusation they turned the synagogue into a money changers den, that the rabbinical had distorted scripture, that Herod was not even a Jew, but a puppet of the Romans, etc. No, Jews aren't told to read of Jesus, and are actually dissuaded by their Holy Book only containing the Old Testament.

I am much less sympathetic with the Jews on this issue as I have also read the Dead Sea Scrolls and find both religions to be highly suspect. I once confronted a pastor about it claiming he had to have read it to get his Doctorate and that he knew as he passed the plate he did not believe in the divinity of Jesus. He would not deny it and only said, "I will make no comment."

Now that I've begun this, I think I'll have to eventually put up some information on the subject as it will definitely stir up some new thinking. I just e-mailed a site that has a FACTUAL historical quotation that Jesus was a blond haired, blue-eyed, tall man of "slightly wavey curls". Swear to God he did. I told him I would go find a description of Jesus that will rock him to learn. Now I have another reason to revisit this issue. One more 'sign' and I'll have to put up something.

It's not just a movie. It's not just a movie. People have been seriously changed by this movie. Hype is sometimes created for a good reason. This is a good reason. The whole movie is not about pointing fingers, it's about a story of perfect love. We all killed Jesus. Every human that will be, is, or was killed Jesus. Also, I believe Jesus is 100% Human and 100% Divine. That is the mystery. I hope I will not be able to eat after the movie, for fear of vomiting.

this is mel's guilty conscience being manifested in a form to make money, and hardly factually accurate at that. just more dollywood self-righteous mastication.

Well, maybe I am not now in the way to say if this movie will change your life or not, because its only a movie as someone said upper.

Maybe the scandal that jew people put around the movie is because all the violence put over Jesus, but we have to think about some things:

1) The jews are not the only guilty people around the Passion, Jesus lost His Life for all of us, the jews are only the people chosen by God to make this Sacrifice.

2) We dont have to discriminate jew people after the movie, they are not guilty at all, there are another things in the history apart of the Death of Jesus why another countries, kingdoms and dictators hated them.

3) Think about it, here in Mexico there was a movie about a priest named "Padre Amaro", the priest falled in love with a girl, the girl is pregnant after some encounters and the priest wanted her to make an abortion, when she try it, she dies. The Catholic Church make a big scandal around it, but mexican people came to see the movie and made it a big screen hit. Maybe jew people only are making the same scandal to convert a good intentioned religious movie in a very big screen hit.

Greetings from Mexico.
